TIP OF THE DAY - BREASTFEEDING

Whether you are a working mom or stay at home mom, you can make breastfeeding work for you! Invest in a pump because overall you are investing in you and your child. Manual pumps are recommended for easy clean up. But I currently own a Ameda double electric and it gets the job done fast! I NEVER use both pumps at the same time so if I had to do it again I would purchase a single electric.

  1. You know if you pump one breast while your child is feeding on the other the body produces more milk. As well as after showering or bathing the steam from the water allows the milk to flow easier and makes it easier to pump.

  2. Wow!! I didn't know about feeding and pumping @ the same time. I've heard people talk about doing it but I haven't mastered that side position. I gotta try it. Thanks a ton!!
